January, MES was awarded a contract to supply and install navigation and
communications suites on board 4 Standby Safety Vessels to be built at
Balenciaga Shipyard, Spain, for North Star Shipping of Aberdeen.
In America, MES is mid-way through a similar contract for 3 Platform Supply Vessels at Eastern Shipbuilders.
In
Singapore, on a pipelaying vessel, the commissioning of a large
integrated bridge system supplied by MES will commence soon. This is
the second of two vessels.
The first, Global 1200 whose bridge is shown in the photo
the left. This vessel is owned and operated by Global Industries Ltd
